Mojo Monday - #432

This month's Cozy Day Showcase is another collection of fabulousness! Pop in over at the ADFD Blog to see what the rest of the DT has done with Tammy's beautiful drawings. This one is called Nest in the Cherry Tree. There's still one more week left to play along with the latest challenge - add some stitching.
Our challenge is all about embossing this week at Creative Knockouts - heat embossing or embossing folders. You don't have to ask me twice to use an embossing folder, so this challenge is right up my alley! Fred, She Said is our sponsor and this image is called Emma the Snowangel. Who doesn't love making snow angels?1? I can't wait to see what you do when you play along with us this week!
The challenge for the next fortnight on the A Day for Daisies Blog is to add stitching. This sweet girl is one of Tammy's new images, called Flowers for Sale. She's got that vintage feel, so I wanted to keep her colors soft and used this week's Freshly Made Sketch for my design. Find your favorite ADFD image or use the freebie on the blog and play along with our challenge.
We're showcasing Tammy's adorable penguin images this month on the ADFD Blog. These look so rolly-poly - kind of like the Weebles toddlers played with in the 80s! Mine is called Penguin Gentleman - and quite a dapper little penguin he is! You still have a week for our anything goes challenge. Use your favorite (or a new) ADFD and play along with us! Can't wait to see what you make!
The Creative Knockouts challenge this week is sponsored by SLS Lines. Their image, Book Lover was a great one to play around with for me this week. I knew right away I wanted to print the digi on some old SU newsprint I had in my stash and color on the newsprint. I decided to use and oval stitched die to frame my gal and added a computer generated sentiment. A few glittery sequins and some Stickles on the pencils added finishing touches. Who doesn't like sparkle?!? Come and join the DT this week with your own glittery creations!
Sami Stamps is sponsoring this week. My card uses Winter Cocoa. Alex's sketch inspired me to make a tryptic with the image. It was fun to figure out where to make the cuts. I paper pieced the coat, doodled the inside black lines, shaded with my Copics and added some Wink of Stella for sparkle.
House of Cards - Jan. -Embossing (or color)
Happy New Year! This first challenge on the A Day for Daisies Blog is an anything goes challenge. My image is one of Tammy's new January Club Kit penguin digis, called Penguin Fairy.
