CAS Colours & Sketches #273 - Sketch Challenge

I thought his would be an easy CC&S sketch, but I was down in my craft room for HOURS trying to come up with something!  Finally, using a very old Swinging Day Amuse Studio stamp from 2011 as a birthday card got me moving forward with an idea.  I had to flip the sketch to make it work on the card front.  Hope you will join us this week, but first take a look at the DT cards HERE for some inspiration.

ATSM #290 - Photo Inspiration

The colors and frames in this week's photo challenge on the ATSM Blog were the inspiration behind my card and I'm loving how this shaker card turned out!  Lots of stamp companies were used in the making of this card!!  A bear from Amuse Studios, the butterfly from an Easter PTI set, Mama Elephant's Script stamp set for the baby's name, flower die cuts from Right At Home and the stitched window from MFT.  What a fun, personalized baby card!

ATSM Challenge #288 - Holiday

It's a holiday theme for Challenge #288 on the Addicted to Stamps & More Blog.  Go Hog Wild from Amuse Studio was the perfect foil for this card.  Some masking, manipulating the cows' positions, and a little fussy cutting helped get things just right!  Copics were used to give the cows some dimension and create the grass in the pasture. I just love how this turned out and will be making this one again!

ATSM Challenge #284 - CAS

Welcome to a new challenge on the Addicted to Stamps & More Challenge Blog. Our challenge this week is CAS.  I am in need of some baby cards, which is perfect for a CAS card.  I stamped the bear from an old Amuse set on patterned paper and heat embossed it with brown.  The baby's name was stamped with Mama Elephant's Calli Letters Alphabet set and the frame die cut is LJD Rectangle Peek-A-Boo Window from MFT.  A few layers, lots of white, and a simple design!

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #255 - Colour Challenge

The colors Beverly has chosen for this week's CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge are not my usual palette, so I had to do a little extra thinking as I went digging in my stamp stash for an image to use.  An Amuse Studios purchase of stamps from just before the holidays fit the bill!  OMG Cake is used for the cake stand and cloche and the little plant is from House Plants.  Having all three ink colors was a double bonus, so I pulled out my blender pen and went to work.  The simplicity of the images makes it easy to keep the card CAS.
