The colors Beverly has chosen for this week's
CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge are not my usual palette, so I had to do a little extra thinking as I went digging in my stamp stash for an image to use. An Amuse Studios purchase of stamps from just before the holidays fit the bill!
OMG Cake is used for the cake stand and cloche and the little plant is from
House Plants. Having all three ink colors was a double bonus, so I pulled out my blender pen and went to work. The simplicity of the images makes it easy to keep the card CAS.
I hope you will play along with us this week. I can't wait to see how everyone uses the colors in the challenge. Don't forget to take a peek at the DT's cards
here - they are sure to inspire your creativity!!
This is a really cute card, I like the little plant.

ReplyDeleteThe little succulent is so sweet - and at first glance, it resembles a cake with decorations only on the top! ;) It's a cheery card!
