Beverly has a sketch for this week's CAS Colours and Sketch Challenge. I thought I would get a jump on making Valentine cards for my grandchildren with this sketch - after all, Valentine's Day is only a couple of weeks away!It took several iterations before I settled on this final card. My first attempt started with a circle (since that was part of the sketch), but I ended up feeling an oval better-framed the stitched heart trail from Sugar Pea Design's Special Delivery stamp set. Not many supplies for this card - an embossing folder, a scrap of pink patterned paper, and heat embossing for the sentiment and the pink trail. The sentiment and paper airplane are popped off the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
