Little Patch of Crafty Friends #10 - Anything Goes

Welcome to Challenge #10 for the Lil' Patch of Crafty Friends Blog.  Remember, we're always an anything goes challenge, you have two weeks to enter, and we have three sponsors - so that means three lucky winners!  My card features a digi from The Stamping Boutique called, Nesting Dolls Together.  I have a few sets of Matryoshka dolls that my grandkids love to play with, so coloring these little girls had a personal connection for me.

Check out what the other talents DT gals created using images from our generous sponsors here. Play along!  I can't wait to see what you create.
Please be sure to check out the rules if you want to be eligible for the prizes.

Lil' Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #8 - Anything Goes

The Lil' Patch Challenge #8 is an anything goes challenge.  I was lucky enough to be able to use an image from one of our three sponsors, A Day For Daisies.  They're a dream to color.  This on is called Aloha Parasol - she's just luscious!  I decided she was going to be a more "mature" woman and gave her some wrinkles around her belly.  Although now that I'm thinking about it, I'm not sure my mature gal would be wearing such a itty bitty bikini! I colored pearls with my Copics and added them to the parasol and as accents around the sentiment.

I used this week's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches to design my card.

Copics Used:
Skin:  E000, 21, 11
Flowers:R11, 20, 22, 24
Parasol: Y00, 04, 08 R20
Bikini:  BG000, 11, 32
Sand:  E41 (based) and dots of other E colors, some R20 and BG 11

The three sponsors for our challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends means more chances to win prizes for you!  I love that Denise has three sponsors per challenge -  and the challenge this fortnight is anything goes!!  Take a peek at the DT's use of sponsor images here and be inspired to play along.

Lil' Patch of Crafty Friends - Challenge #6

Hi Everyone,
Team B is up with a new challenge, 3 new sponsors, and new DT members for you to stop in and meet.

I am using Spring Banquet, from the Etsy shop of sponsor, Ching-Chou Kuik.  There are so many beautiful images for coloring.  This one kind of intimidated me, but all I had to do was get started - and I was in love!

I decided to use the "outside the box" technique for her hair and have a quick picture for you to show how easy the look is to accomplish.  You just decide where the image is going to extend beyond the border of the die.  I draw a light line inside the die and snip the spots that are going to be outside so they can rest on top of the die when I run it through my die cut machine.  After the die cut is ready, then it's time to fussy cut the other spots.  You can see this most clearly on my card with the hair on the lower left.

Stop by the Lil'Patch blog and see what the rest of the team has for you for our latest anything goes challenge.

Lil' Patch of Crafty Friends - Challenge #4

It's challenge #4 for us at Lil' Patch of Crafty Friends.  We've had such a great turn out of entries to our challenges.  Thanks so much to everyone for making this a fun new adventure.

As usual, there are three sponsors this week.  I'm using an image from one of our sponsors, Lemon Shortbread image called Daisy Floral Girl.
I loved coloring this girl and choosing a little different color palette from my usual pinks!  As I was deciding on my papers, I just reached into my scrap drawers and used what was already cut.  I just had to trim some length from a few pieces.  I wish I could say it made a dent in the paper in the drawers, but it really didn't!

Lil' Patch of Crafty Friends - Challenge #2

Welcome to my blog!  You've landed on my post for the second-ever  Lil' Patch of Crafty Friends card challenge!
If you are looking for my Sketch Saturday Post, you'll find it here.
My SugarPea Sweet 2 Repeat post is here.

My Lil' Patch card features Bugaboo's Morning Coffee digital image.  I've had a couple of these kind of mornings lately, so I can relate!! I generated the sentiment with my computer and doodled the boxes around the words before I cut them out.  Inside the card uses the same word format and says . . . I have a problem without it!

Lil' Patch Of Crafty Friends is an anything goes challenge posting at 9:00 a.m. AEST (Brisbane) on the first and third Sundays of the month.  Denise and Amy have spent a lot of time and energy getting the blog off of the ground!  It's a great DT and each challenge has THREE sponsors!  That's three times the number of winners!!  Stop by the blog and take a look at what the DT did with images from all three sponsors.  I can't wait to see what you create!
