Creative Knockouts #147 - A Charmed Life

Oddball Art is this week's sponsor at Creative Knockouts.  This forlorn little girl is named Cassidy.  She's going to a friend who is recovering from an operation.

The challenge is to add a charm to you card.  Unfortunately, there was no charm in sight in the piles around my craft room, but I found one of these little mini clips from my days as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  It's metal, and having moments of creativity leads to a charmed life, right?!?!  Take at peek at the DT cards here, and then play along with us!

Dizzy Daisy

I'm featuring one of todays new digis from the Babycakes Digis and Design Etsy shop called 919 Dizzy Daisy today.  She's one of artist, Sandra Caldwell's newest releases.  The rest of the DT has colored up other goodies from this week's release, which you can find at the Sandra Caldwell Stamp Fans Facebook Group. (If you aren't a member, consider joining!)  Honestly, I don't know how she does it, but Sandra continues to crank out new digis every week for all of us to color.  Her creativity is amazing!

The sentiment is from Little Inker Designs and fits beautifully with the face of this flower.  The background print in an MFT birthday background stamp.  I just finished with Sandy Allnock's Copic Coloring class and learned some new color combinations, which I used on this flower.  Who would have thought that V15 could create so many lovely shading options!  Amazing, I tell you!!

We are featuring Fall Cuties this week - a collection of little acorn girls.  Mine is called Acorn Cutie C.  I decided to give her a summer look and colored her with yellows, using red as an accent color.  Stop by the ADFD blog and see what the rest of the DT colored up to inspire you!  Tammy has a free image for you to use to join the challenge.

Challenges Entered:

A Day for Daisies - June Club Kit Images

Hi Everyone,
Back for another week featuring Tammy's wonderful June Club Kit seal images.  This one is called Summer Seal Sitting.  I have so much fun coloring this seal.  I saw so many images of seals with a mottled skin that I decided to try it for myself and love the way this seal turned out.  I colored her with my W0, W1, W3,  & W5 markers and then added a bot of E41 and E42 on top to brown it up.  I'm not particularly fond of my colors for the flowers, but I love that seal!

Come and join our Flower Paper Challenge on the ADFD Blog.  You have one more week to play.

A Day for Daisies Challenge #149 - Use Floral Paper

I took an ADFD hiatus in May due to too much going on at work. Arielle was a so understanding and it made my life manageable.  Whew!

Things have calmed down and OMG - I am so excited to share the new June Club images Tammy has drawn. . . SEALS!  This little one is called Summer Seal Waiting.

I have never colored a seal before and it was a blast!  I did a Google search and found hundreds of seals to look at.  I decided to make mine gray and white to play up that adorable face Tammy created.  Pop over to the ADFD Blog and peek at the rest of the seal collection.  The other DT gals have so much inspiration in store for you!
