Happy Saturday, Sketchers! Today's sketch was designed by Debra. Bugaboo Stamps is the sponsor. My card features their Cupcake Circle Tag. I used two circle dies to create the sentiment ring and fussy cut the cupcake top. My red tag just had white polka dots so I added some yellow to help tie in the whole card. I pulled out a Spellbinders embossing folder to add some texture to the card back.
Welcome to Challenge #10 for the Lil' Patch of Crafty Friends Blog. My card features a digi from The Stamping Boutique called, Nesting Dolls Together. I have a few sets of Matryoshka dolls that my grandkids love to play with, so coloring these little girls had a personal connection for me.
Sami Stamps is the sponsor for this week's Creative Knockouts Challenge. We're using washi tape for this challenge! I found some 5x5" sheets of washi at Michaels and cut it to give it the tape look for the yellow chevron. It's perfect with the black and white polka dot washi and and this sweet little cat called Flower Whiskers. I added a computer generated sentiment and die cut it in a speech bubble, put some Stickles on the flowers and added 3 sequins.

I decided to go with another CAS card, which still take me a while to make! I have a whole batch of "thank you" cards to make, so I'm knocking one off of my list with Sketch #360 from Sketch Saturday. I used the inlaid technique with the oval and the word thanks. After I die cut the oval out of the white card front, I used an eb folder on the paper to give it some texture. The flowers are colored with watercolor markers, spritzed with water, and then stamped onto watercolor paper.
This week Sketch Saturday is sponsored by A Day for Daisies. I feel fortunate to have had a few opportunities to "play" with ADFD images in the past few weeks - I love coloring them! This cute image is called Ten Cents A Sip. The coloring challenge for me was figuring out how to make the lemonade look a little opaque. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.
This cute image made me fast forward my imagination. We just started the last month of school. It's approaching summer here in MN - and I am so ready for neighborhood lemonade stands! We've had two generations of them outside of our house - my own kids and now my grandkids, although they sell it by the glass, not by the sip!!
