A Day for Daisies - Vintage Hats

This week we are featuring Tammy's  previously released collection of five different Vintage School Girl Hats, which you can find in the ADFD Shop.  Mine is called Vintage School Girl Three.  The little flowers on her brim really caught my eye.  I love their shape.

Creative Knockouts #137 - Humorous Card

I was so excited to request this image, Baby Shoes Without Laces, from our sponsor Doodle Pantry that I forgot to consider the challenge theme when I made the card, so sadly, my card isn't humorous - but's it's cute right?!?  And isn't it a bit humorous that I whiffed on the challenge?  So there - a little humor!

Onto this darling sponsor image.  I love the ability to create real laces for these shoes.  It really makes the card precious.  I paper pieced part of the shoes rather than color this week. . . so many possibilities with this image!!

What A Character!

Captain Jack Sparrow is this week's (PIN)spirational Challenge - he's bigger than life!  The idea of a big character, the sentiment, and something about Jack's sitting position in the inspirational photo made me think of this Sandra Caldwell Minnie Mouse image I had on my desk (called Mickey Fan).  Sandra has loads of fun characters in her Etsy shop - I bet she could draw Jack Sparrow, too!  I know it's not a pirate - but aren't inspiration challenges supposed to tap into some creativity?!?

A Day for Daisies - April Club Kit
