Aren't you going crazy for all of the new releases from
SugarPea Designs? The stamps and the dies are fabulous and so much fun to play with. I can hardly wait to ink up every one of them!!
My Sugar Sketch Challenge card uses the stamp set
Classroom Cupids. There are so many cute combinations that would make simple cards for a crew of kids. If I was still teaching first grade, this one would be on my "must have" list so I could make Valentines for my class!
My intention with this card is a Valentine for my 14 year old grandson. I wanted to make it a bit sophisticated. I could totally see using the guitar stamp and sentiment as a birthday card or to send congratulations! I stamped the guitar on patterned paper and heat embossed it in black. The sentiment is heat embossed in white. It's hard to see in the picture, but I created a background using the guitar stamp too. IRL, it looks nice! I used the
SugarCuts Air Mail dies on the bottom of the black paper and on the polka dot paper to give some texture. The heart is a die cut from
SugarCuts Heart Journal Card die. The embossed detail on the bottom heat was perfect! I added some skinny ribbon and a few sequins and the card was done! It came together pretty quickly.
