Sketch Saturday - Sketch #302

DeeDee Designs is Sketch Saturday's sponsor this week.  Jenn put out a call for help with designing sketches a while ago and even though this is one of mine, I have to admit it's one I wasn't crazy about using it this week!!  In the end, I like how this card turned out, though. Do you notice - no coloring in sight!! (Well - just a hint in the candle flame.)  The die cut words are a companion to the Whole Lotta' Happy stamp set from WPlus9.  I discovered the set from this card while browsing the Splitcoast gallery of my friend, Maura (who is the Queen of Clean-Lined cards in my book).  The candle is a die cut from PTI.

Whether it's my favorite sketch or not, I loved to see how the other DT members interpreted it for their cards.  Head on over to the Sketch Saturday Blog and check them out!

Challenges Entered:
Crafty Hazelnut's March Patterned Paper Challenge

  1. I love what you did with the stamp set and the sketch, Cathy. A masculine feel to it but still very festive. And do I see sequins on this card? Have I seen this on your cards before? As of yet, I don't own any but have been pondering lately……(Thanks for the shout-out, BTW!! Fun to see my card linked!)

  2. Great card! I love how it turned out too :) Hugs Deb

  3. A really fantastic card... nice colours and the candle is just great

  4. Thank you so much for joining my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge for March with your lovely creation - hope to see you again for the April challenge. x

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I appreciate each and every one of them. Cathy
