SugarPea Designs' February theme challenge is to create a Shaker Card. Who doesn't love a shaker card?!?I tried to think a little differently about my shaker. I had the Notched Heart Journal Die Cut sitting on my desk and in my quest to use my supplies, I decided to use it as my shaker. I made it using some tiny seed beads. Rather than have my shaker sitting on the front of the card, I die cut the outer shape on the card front and taped the shaker inside the card.
My stamps are from the set Happy Mail; I attached the mailbox and the sentiment flag to the card front, so it overlaps the shaker until the card is opened. The downside is there isn't much room to write on the inside, but the whole card back is available!! I know if my teamie Lisa created this, the inside would be decorated, too! Love her - and one day I will get there!
