In a moment of weakness, I did some online shopping at Simon Says Stamp. The package arrived over to weekend. Much to my chagrin, the $80 of product all fit into a padded envelope. Anyway, I now have three different "hello" dies (all different sizes). Shhh - don't tell my husband!! I broke out the biggest one (SSS Big Hello) and whipped up this card with paper from my scrap drawers. It was quick to make, but didn't come out quite like I pictured it would. I ended up adding some Stickles in the letters of the die cut. It looks cute IRL. If you want to see a sequin shaker card I made using this die, take a peek here.

It's a cute card! Don't you hate it when the cost seems like it should produce a big package. I always feel that way when I come away from the grocery store.
ReplyDeletePretty card Cathy! :) Shopping makes us happy - especially scrappy shopping right? :)
ReplyDeleteFun card! Can't beat red and black and polka dots, can you? And clearly, one can never have too many "hello" dies!
ReplyDeleteAnother fabby card with this die! I'm still holding out... have it in my cart but haven't 'checked out'!
